Promotions Company P.S The Scene is Dead Merges with Promote the Hell Out of It!

For some of our readers, this may be the first time you’re hearing about P.S The Scene is Dead! So here’s a little intro, PSTSID is a promotion company originally set up by our Co-Founder, Misael Trujillo back in 2012 in order to host live music and club night events in London, Birmingham, Brighton and the rest of the UK.

Our Live Music Events Managements History…

During our time living in Brighton, Jayne joined the team and we continued to host punk, folk and rock musician from the UK, Canada and America as a team. Our debut Brighton event happened in January 2015 and was the first (none hometown) headline show of Kerrang! favourite’s Creeper at The Green Door Store. P.S The Scene is Dead was solely responsible for the events management, booking, poster design, ticket sales and marketing of this sold out show, that also featured three support bands: Hindsights, Harker and Larkhill.

We regularly hosted gigs in Brighton at the Hope and Ruin, The Quadrant and Sticky Mike’s, often in collaboration with other local promoters or bands, helping to keep the wonderful music scene alive without anyone going bankrupt! In London, P.S The Scene is Dead could often be found at The Old Blue Last, Borderline, Camden Barfly, The Black Heart and Birthdays.

In addition to live music events under the P.S The Scene is Dead banner, Misael has been booking and running gigs and club nights for over 14 years within his professional and personal circles.

Promoting via Podcasting and the Future of our Events…

As part of a consolidation of our creative work in 2019, we will be saying goodbye to P.S The Scene is Dead, as it merges with our new brand, Promote the Hell Out of It! which we feel will better encompasses the future vision of our work within events and music. Initially, this will be a home for Miz’s podcast content, which continues to cover the topics of music and promotion, whilst exploring broader topics that are important to discuss. Guests so far include best-selling authors, street artists, musicians, marketing experts and business advisers to Google, Coca-Cola and Microsoft.  This isn’t the end of our events, but you will have to stay tuned to find out more!

We’re just waiting on the official re-brand of our Facebook page, but for now you can find out more about Promote the Hell Out of It via Twitter, Instagram, our website or all of the usual podcasting platforms.

If this experience sounds of interest to you, we are available to hire for strategy. consultancy and implementation. Get in touch with details of your concept and budget and we’ll be happy to help!
